This course provides an overview of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), a national public health agency dedicated to improving workplace safety. Learn about the history of OSHA, its mission and how its regulations protect the safety and health of U.S. workers.
In accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), organizations must establish and enforce standards and provide training, outreach, education, and assistance in order to ensure workers are in a safe working environment. By enforcing standards on different organizations, ensures the safety of its workers. Inspections are the most effective way for OSHA to enforce standards. Thus, in response to the massive demand for OSHA courses, Cosmic Institute decided to launch OSHA safety course in Pakistan so that all individuals can benefit from this course and establish health and safety standards in their organizations.
This course is designed for individuals interested in teaching the 10- and 30-hour construction safety and health Outreach Training Program. Using OSHA Construction Standards as a guide, this course places special emphasis on topics which are most hazardous.
This course allows the student to become a trainer in the OSHA Outreach Training Program, to conduct both 10- and 30-hour Construction Outreach classes. Students who wish to participate as authorized Outreach trainers must prepare a presentation on an assigned topic, and successfully pass a written exam at the end of the course.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Explain and apply the contents of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration 29CFR1910 (OSHA) standards
Prepare an effective safety program that will also increase employee morale and productivity, and reduce overall costs
Describe the training requirements of OSHA standards and identify the training topics that their organization’s employees will need
Apply the record keeping requirements of OSHA to maintain an effective workplace injury log
Distinguish the difference between workers’ rights and employers’ responsibilities as defined by OSHA
