The aim of our Scaffolding Level 1 Training Course is to provide participants with the opportunity to become competent in applying the skills, knowledge, and attitudes associated with the safe erection/dismantling of scaffolding systems.
This course offers students an understanding of basic scaffold erection and dismantling under local Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
To give the attendees such knowledge and skills to enable them to erect, alter and dismantle basic scaffolding structures in traditional tube and fitting and common system scaffolds. Level 1 Scaffolders should only carry out the erection and dismantling of scaffold structures covered within course. They are competent to work as part of a team, but must not lead operations if the work is outside the scope of the training, adequate direct supervision is required at all times. This course will explain the safety requirements of scaffolds and participants will be able to identify the scaffold related risks and take precautions to mitigate the scaffold related risks.

Identify scaffold components and use; identify damaged components.

Minimums and Maximums including lift height bay width, length light/medium/heavy duty scaffolds; bracing of scaffolds; tying of scaffolds.
Estimation of material
